Martell Cordon Bleu Extra
Martell Cordon Bleu Extra Cognac is a new take on an old favorite, with some subtle differences. The first is the age of the cognac. The normal Cordon Bleu is an X.O. (Extra Old) quality, but, as the name suggests, this new model is an Extra Cognac.
The bottle and label also have a contemporary, 21st century look, while still paying tribute to the original 1912 design. A lovely EXTRA offering that will be truly enjoyed by those who enjoy cognacs from the Borderies terroir.
Aspect: Amber, with mahogany tone
Nose: Firstly, ‘Tarte Tatin’ notes with sweet spices as cinammon. Then fine notes of dried fruits as apricot, grapes, almonds
Mouthfeel: Well-rounded mellowness. A vivid start with blackcurrant notes, then the very same dried fruits aromas (grapes, fig, nuts). Elegance & balance, sustained finish, rich and luscious with expressive notes of candied orange peels.
